PalmBe-ach (working title)
Program Description

Programs

This program allows your PSION Palmtop (Series 3c) to talk to the BeOS. You will be able to backup your files from your PSION onto your BeOS system.

The program is divided into the following parts:

Program Name Program Description
PalmBeach This program can be started with a double click. You need this program to establish the connection to your PSION. All needed add-ons are started automatically by PsiNCP.
add-ons/LINK This add-on is used to manage the LINK protocol. When the PSION asks to start the protocol, the PsiNCP loads the add-on and starts it automatically.
add-ons/SYS$RFSV This add-on is used to manage the RFSV-Protocol. When the PSION asks to start the protocol, the PsiNCP loads the add-on and starts it automatically.
~/config/add-ons/kernel/file_systems/psionfs This file is the filesystem add-on. It holds the RFSV client functionality which is needed to mount a PSION volume on the BeOS. The Protocol is the RFSV-Protocol which is used when the connection is established with "CONNECT". The filesystem is been unloaded when the connection is disconnected.

Example Picture

When you start the program and the connection to the PSION 3c is established you will see the PSION volumes on your Tracker Desktop. The "PSION-BeOS" window shows you all available add-ons. The "MYPSION" window shows you the contents of your PSION 3c.
